Flourless Chocolate Cupcakes!! (My pick for MSC)

This month it is MY TURN to host the Martha Stewart Cupcake Club! I chose Martha's Flourless Chocolate Cupcakes for 4 reasons:

Chocolate, Butter, Eggs and Sugar.

That's right, you only need those 4 basic ingredients to make these delicious, incredible cupcakes! If you can go out and buy these 4 ingredients, you are on your way to making these cupcakes.

And if you can melt chopped chocolate and butter together

whisk egg yolks into the chocolate mixture

whip egg whites and sugar

fold egg whites into chocolate mixture

and bake

Guess what??? You just made the cupcakes and you barely had to do anything at all! And now you can go and enjoy them with loads of ice cream, whipped cream, caramel sauce and sprinkles. Hey, the number of toppings I used is equal to the number of ingredients I used for these cupcakes!

So to recap, that's 4 ingredients, 5 steps, and loads of toppings. Just the way I like it!

Thank you SO much to everyone in the Martha Stewart Cupcake Club who baked along with me this month! I hope you all enjoyed the ease and deliciousness of this recipe. The easier the recipe means the more time outside enjoying the summer sun!

  4. Thanks for choosing these; I enjoyed them very much, and so did my husband's co-workers! Yours look so good, like ooey gooey ice cream sundaes! I wish I had tried these with ice cream, but we just ate them plain. They were good that way, too! Thanks for visiting my blog!

  7. CARAMEL!! That's what I could have put on these to make them even better. These were good with and without anything.

Great pick. Best flourless cake I have ever made.

  9. LOVE LOVE LOVE your choice! I can't wait to try the caramel - I though ice cream was good... but there are so many toppings that would go with this. Ultimately the BEST cupcake - even though mine sank like battleships - a "make again" for sure. Love your presentation - so festive and fun - perfect for summer! Thanks again!
